Here’s a hot pick bargain priced ebook for you. Now, I haven’t read Melanie Dickerson’s books before, but she is high on my to-read list for two reasons: 1) She is recommended by other reviewers and authors I respect, and 2) She writes medieval historical fiction. Such a rarity to find Christian medieval fiction, and I just love the medieval period.
Here’s the blurb from the book:
An unthinkable danger. An unexpected choice.Annabel, once the daughter of a wealthy merchant, is trapped in indentured servitude to Lord Ranulf, a recluse who is rumored to be both terrifying and beastly. Her circumstances are made even worse by the proximity of Lord Ranulf’s bailiff—a revolting man who has made unwelcome advances on Annabel in the past.Believing that life in a nunnery is the best way to escape the escalation of the bailiff’s vile behavior and to preserve the faith that sustains her, Annabel is surprised to discover a sense of security and joy in her encounters with Lord Ranulf. As Annabel struggles to confront her feelings, she is involved in a situation that could place Ranulf in grave danger. Ranulf’s future, and possibly his heart, may rest in her hands, and Annabel must decide whether to follow the plans she has cherished or the calling God has placed on her heart.
The Kindle version of The Merchant’s Daughter is currently $2.03, but will only be so cheap for a limited time (I’m hearing just a matter of days). So if you’re interested, you’ll have to download it quickly. Make sure the price is still $2.03 before you download, in case the price has gone up already.
Don’t sweat if you don’t have a Kindle. You can download the Kindle software onto pretty much any device – your PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android device etc.
