We hope you’ve had a happy, blessed and holy Easter weekend. Jess and I have had the pleasure of spending this Easter together with our families. We don’t really have Easter traditions, as we like to focus on the hope that we have because Jesus conquered death. But we enjoy a good meal and time together on Easter Sunday, and we have had a lovely weekend.
We mentioned at the end of March that we have a couple of big things coming up in April. In between eating and church this weekend, we’ve been busy planning and preparing for the exciting weeks ahead. Today we have for you a sneak preview of what’s in store.

Hi Helen and Jess! I'm so glad to hear you had a happy Easter. I spent Easter evening with family, although my husband had to work. 🙁
I'm looking forward to your blog birthday celebration, and I'm so tickled over the fact that your blog birthday is one day after my real one! (Don't tell anyone though 😉 I'll also be looking for the link to vote for your blog.
Oh, and I'm giving away my copy of Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, if you're interested. 🙂
Hi Gwen, Thanks! We're excited to be having our celebrstion week. What fun that it's right near your birthday!
I've had the chance to read more of your book. I had to transfer it to a PDF so I could read it on my phone, which means I'll be able to get through it quicker. Reading on the lap top is hard for me. I'm excited about what I'm seeing 🙂
Jess 🙂
Awww, thanks for your encouragement, Jess! It's a little rough around the edges, but I'm working on it. 🙂 Too many scenes of "talking heads" and not enough of the setting in places. I'm also working on transforming some of the 1st person italicized thoughts into 3rd person past tense to help the story read a little smoother. 🙂 Thanks for helping me get the Aussie details right. You and Helen are a huge blessing!
