This book only released a couple of weeks ago. I haven’t read it and I don’t know anything about the author Angela Hunt. However the book’s title and cover really jumped out at me. I love the suitcases all lined up, they each speak of a different owner. It just looks like something I would want to read. So I think this book will go on my to buy list.
What do you guys think?

Jess’ favourite genre is contemporary women’s fiction and contemporary romance fiction. She also enjoys historical fiction with a focus on romance. She loves books set in country towns or farms with a cowboy featured in either historical or contemporary settings.
She is currently writing her first novel, a contemporary women’s fiction/romance set in a small country town.

Jess is a mum of two children and married to the calmest man alive. She loves to bake and go for walks. A writer of contemporary romance, Jess write stories about the heart and where love is worth the journey.
I got this (and Crazy Dangerous by Andrew Klavan) both because of the intriging titles. Both were good – but very different.
If you want to read my review of Five Miles South, it's up at http://www.christianreads.blogspot.co.nz/2012/06/review-five-miles-south-of-peculiar-by.html (and Carzy Dangerous at http://www.christianreads.blogspot.co.nz/2012/06/review-crazy-dangerous-by-andrew-klavan.html).
Hey Ladies,
The cover of 5 Miles is fantastic! Honestly, much more attractive than other Angela Hunt novels I've seen in the past. I've read some of her stuff and actually really enjoyed it. Often her work is more about people breaking out of bondage of some sort, whether emotional, spiritual or otherwise, and learning about relationships rather than romance or adventure, etc., and although I haven't read this one, from some of the reviews I've read, it sounds like this is along those same lines. I'd pick it up in a heartbeat though – the cover sells it, both the image and the title, but so does Angela's name.
Angela Hunt is a wonderful author. She's written many books, some are quite different than the others. One series of hers I really liked was the Fairlawn series. I haven't yet read Five Miles South of Peculiar, but agree it has a great cover.
It's an awesome cover and title! And I have to say, Jess, I share your favourite genre! That could've been written by me. I hope you're enjoying writing your novel.
Hi Becky,
Angela's stuff sounds like something I should get stuck into!
Hey ladies,
looks like this cover is a hit! A good cover really does go a long way in getting a reader's attention! 🙂
