I admit that one of my favourite shows is The Amazing Race. I used to watch some episodes of the American series but it was usually on late at night here, so I was never able to consistently watch it. So last year when they made an Australian Amazing Race I was so excited!!
My husband and I hang out for Monday nights each week. We love it! I’m not a fan of reality television, but this show I love. I love the competition, watching teams work together, seeing all the places they travel too. When the teams are given two tasks to choose from Ben and I always discuss between us which one we would do if we were running the race.
I went so far as last year to download the entry form, but having a 1 year old doesn’t allow for running a race like this. So instead I dream about running this race and seeing how far I could get. What’s something out there that you would love to do, but can only dream about right now?

I love 'The Amazing Race' too! It's the only reality show I would ever consider going on. Looks like so much fun!
I'm going to have to check out the Australian version online! 🙂
Me too. We're toying with the idea of having an Amazing Race type party for my daughter's birthday at the end of the year in our local district, in which we plant clues at different locations and hubby, me and a few other adults may be the drivers for the teams.
But how awesome it would be to do the real thing!
Totally agree with you both!
Paula I love that idea as a party!
Yes, the real thing would be awesome – so hard but awesome. Some of the stuff they have to do is crazy! I often wonder how I would be depicted on the show though…
Sounds like an awesome idea, Paula! I bet your daughter would LOVE it!
