This cover caught my attention. The woman’s red hair did it for me I think. Coupled with the abandoned shack at the bottom and it had me asking questions! I want to read this book. I’m also happily ensconced in Suspense Fiction right now (and happy to stay there for a while) and this book is right up my alley! So combined with a good book cover and suspense fiction, makes this a hot book cover!
What do you all think? Would you read it?

Jess’ favourite genre is contemporary women’s fiction and contemporary romance fiction. She also enjoys historical fiction with a focus on romance. She loves books set in country towns or farms with a cowboy featured in either historical or contemporary settings. She is currently writing her first novel, a contemporary women’s fiction/romance set in a small country town.

Jess is a mum of two children and married to the calmest man alive. She loves to bake and go for walks. A writer of contemporary romance, Jess write stories about the heart and where love is worth the journey.
That is a cool cover, Helen, and caught my interest, too! I am not much on reading contemporary suspense but have heard Sandra is an excellent writer. She used to be represented by my agent.
Hi Carrie,
I think I'm going to check out this author. I'm very much into contemporary suspense, so this will be right up my alley!
Hi Jess,
I happened to google my book name and found your blog. 🙂 I'm so pleased to hear that the cover snagged your interest. The art department at Revell was awesome to work with. Thanks so much for sharing my book with your blog readers. All the best on your novel writing!

Have a merry Christmas!
